- The Godfather Collection - Paramount released the box art (above) and full specs for this September 23 release.
- Adventures of Robin Hood - Warner announced they’ll be brining this 1938 classic to Blu-ray this August.
- Korn: Live on the Other Side - Image Entertainment will bring this 2006 live concert performance to Blu-ray this October
- The Fall - Sony Pictures will bring this acclaimed Indian fantasy to Blu-ray on September 9th.
- Married Life - Independent film from Sony will receive a September 2 release date.

The Godfather Collection (Paramount)
- Paramount has released the Blu-ray box art and final specs full specs for this Blu-ray box set. It is a four disc set that includes all three Godfather films, plus a bonus disc containing hours of supplemental content.

- Audio: English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround
- Extras: Audio commentaries by Francis Ford Coppola on all three films, multiple featurettes, still galleries, additional scenes, storyboards, trailers and more.

Paramount announced they will be bringing The Godfather trilogy to Blu-ray September 23rd fully remastered and with hours of bonus materials. All three movies include a frame-by-frame remaster under the supervision of director Francis Coppola and restoration supervisor Kim Aubry. In all, the restoration process took over a year to complete using freshly minted source materials. The suggested retail price will be $119.95 when it hits stores.

- Transformers - Paramount has released the box art (pictured above) and confirmed bonus features for this September 2nd release.
- The Prince & Me 2 - First Look studios is bringing two direct-to video sequels to Blu-ray October 28.

Now that Paramount has jumped back onto the Blu-ray bandwagon, they intend to do things the right way. Paramount has now launched a Blu-ray support website where they’ll promote the studio releases. The site includes a cool features section as well as featured news including that on new Blu-ray players. In the middle of the page you’ll find a “Coming Soon” flash player that loads no content right now but that will soon be filled with Paramount movie content, trailers, promotions, etc. Good to see another major studio giving Blu-ray full fledged support.

Universal is bringing football comedy Leatherheads, starring George Clooney, over to Blu-ray August 26th. Paramount has now officially confirmed the specs for Top Gun which will be released July 29th with added features over the HD-DVD version.

Warner Bros has released full specs for The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete First Season (Aug. 19) with extensive extras but no BD-Live features or high-res audio to be found unfortunately. Leatherface looks to be shredding up Blu-ray when The Texas Chainsaw Massacre gets released on Blu-ray this September 30th. Lastly Paramount will be bringing Hunt for the Red October and Clear and Present Danger, the other half of the now dead Jack Ryan Collection to Blu-ray July 29th.
Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete First Season (Warner Bros)

- Warner announced the release of Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Blu-ray on August 19, debuting alongside the DVD version.
- It will feature all nine hour-long episodes from the first season which was cut short due to the strike.
- Video: Nine episode across two BD-50 dual layer discs in 1080p.
- Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround only.

Todays Blu-ray upcoming releases news includes the release of both Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay from New Line coming July 29th. The other releases include 80’s cult classic Lost Boys: The Tribe (July 29th) and both Shrek the Third and Madagascar (both Sept. 16) from Paramount.
