Upcoming Releases Info June 24, 2008

Here’s the latest info on what’s coming to Blu-ray:

• Transformers - Paramount has released the box art (pictured above) and confirmed bonus features for this September 2nd release.
• The Prince & Me 2 - First Look studios is bringing two direct-to video sequels to Blu-ray October 28.

Transformers (Paramount)

Paramount/Dreamworks has unveiled the box art for the Blu-ray release of Transformers. Although Paramount has yet to confirm if the same HD-DVD bonus features (such as PIP & GPS tracking) will be included, they did say the Blu-ray version will be BD Live enabled with details to be released soon. Video: 1080p Audio: Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround Extras: Audio commentary with Bay, two four-part documentaries (”Our World,” “Their War”), “From Script to Sand: The SKORPONOK Desert Attack” featurette, “Concepts” still gallery, theatrical trailers, and multiple easter eggs. The Prince & Me 2 and The Prince & Me 3 (First Look)

First Look is bringing the sequels to 2004’s The Prince & Me to Blu-ray this October. The Prince & Me 2 and The Prince & Me 3 are both direct-to-video and will be released day-and-date with the standard DVD.
