Universal is bringing football comedy Leatherheads, starring George Clooney, over to Blu-ray August 26th. Paramount has now officially confirmed the specs for Top Gun which will be released July 29th with added features over the HD-DVD version.

Universal will be bringing George Clooney football comedy, Leatherheads, to Blu-ray on August 26th. Although, it earned only $30 million at the box office, Universal is hoping for better success with the home video release.
No tech specs or supplemental details have been announced yet.

Top Gun (Paramount)

Paramount has confirmed specs for Top Gun that will feature multiple high-res audio formats and several new-to-high-def bonus features not found on the HD-DVD version.
Supplements will ported from the special edition DVD release.
